Migration, Environment and Climate Change: Perspecives for Human Mobility to 2050
The environment has been a driver of migration as people flee to survive to natural disasters or move, following difficult and deteriorating environmental conditions, looking for opportunities elsewhere. Given these impacts, climate change is already affecting migration all over the world. Enzo Le Fevre Cervini, ECIA Fellow, has been one of the speaker in Argentina at the pre COP22 of the United Nations Climate Change Conference on “Migration, Environment and Climate Change: Perspecives for Human Mobility through 2050″, in particular in the framework of the Session on “Migration, Climate Change and Human Rights”.
